About Mindy Dillard

Mindy Dillard is a musical alchemist who accompanies her award-winning songs with modern twists on the clawhammer banjo and funky rhythmic grooves on the guitar. Known for her innovative storytelling, powerful stage presence and soaring voice, she was recently described a combination of Joni Mitchell and Tori Amos. Her creative spark is fueled by her childhood spent at the base of the Wasatch Mountains in Salt Lake City, and in Southern Utah’s red rock wilderness. After originally being trained in musical theatre and classical voice, and working as a professional actor, she realized that the stories she wanted to tell most were her own. She now tours nationally as a folk singer-songwriter and is also the creator of Poison Apple Medicine, a production company dedicated to raising awareness of eating disorders and addictions through music and art events. www.mindydillard.com

Musical Alchemist: Transform or transmute the ineffable into healing stories.

About Halelupe

Halelupe is known for the warm voice that resonates through her music and for the way she engages her audiences with their own hearts. Her poetic lyrics are at once fresh & to the point. Halelupe grew up in a big Portland family with music all around her. Her name, part nickname and part vision, came to help her recognize music as her home.

Hearing Halelupe is like sitting round a fire in the wilderness. You smell the sweet aroma of douglas fir cooling after a hot sunny day. The creek near by gives you a sense of rhythm and momentum and there is the echo off the cliff wall across valley. The crackle and pop of burning cedar sends sparks up to the bright stars in a deep indigo sky. It makes you want to sing along and she hopes you will.
