A West Coast Songwriter Performer of the Year and a veteran of Artichoke Music Stage, John has created a recognizable style of writing and performing.
With a finger style of guitar playing that is at once percussive and melodic. and chords borrowed from many genres, his sound is both very familiar and uniquely new.
He is a writer of stories that can hold the attention of any listening audience and a player of beats that can set feet to dancing. Years of performing both solo and with his
band Sweet Home, have but him on Pacific Northwest stages such as; Portland Rose Festival, The Bite of Portland, Recycled Arts Festival, Seattle Folklife Festival,
Salem Arts Festival, Silverton Arts Festival. Johns new CD, Good Company, contains songs that will be comfortable on any stage and for any audience and listening room.
