About John Silliman Dodge
John has been playing guitar and writing songs for over 50 years. He was an ATCO Records recording artist in the 80’s, a classical radio program director in the 90’s, a Sirius Satellite Radio DJ in the 2000’s, and a frequent performer at Cafe Artichoke in the 2010’s. A student of both Tommy Emmanuel and Pierre Bensusan, John’s performances always feature a wide variety of styles—360 degrees of guitar from Bach to Hendrix to flamenco. A recent pilgrimage to the Camino de Santiago in Spain has inspired new original music and poetry, and the current national political climate has triggered a new sing-along protest song.
John Silliman Dodge will be joined on May 13 by guitarists Peter Zisa and Maria Olaya, who will each contribute short solo sections before joining together in their new guitar trio, Peter, John, and Maria.
