If you're like a lot of people, you spend most of your practice time alone on the couch. For most people, this type of practice only gets them so far. They get bored, the family cat gets bored and the large time invested doesn't correlate to the improvement they see.
Members of this class have told me that our "Playing Well With Others" class has not only improved their playing, they've had more fun playing. The class is unique: we get a mix of instruments (from guitars and ukes to the dobro, cello, bass, mandolin, flute, harmonica and even harp), a wide range of experience and abilities. The format is part instruction and part jam session and I provide just enough structure to keep it moving along.
