Michael Henchman (host)
Hailing from the evergreen Pacific Northwest, Michael Henchman's thoughtful, imagery-rich songwriting often draws inspiration from roads less traveled that have beckoned since childhood - living across the U.S., in Europe, and many years in central Alaska - to create a contemporary sound that is at once warm and reminiscent. His music has been described as "progressive folk, mixed with redwoods, diners, grassy plains, a generous dash of longing, and a bit of road dust for texture." His life experiences instilled a deep reverence for wide cinematic landscapes - both real and metaphorical. Michael is a multi-instrumentalist who has performed as a soloist and in various bands over many years, and he has composed instrumental music for public television in Alaska. His third collection of songs - “If The Sky Fell” - was released in January 2025, an eclectic mix of alternative folk, roots, country, even a touch of jazz.

Aslin
Aslin is an Oregon-born singer-songwriter whose music blends indie folk, country, and a touch of playful grit. Growing up writing songs and performing across Oregon’s cafés, house shows, and open mics, Aslin has spent years building a sound that feels both deeply personal and instantly familiar. Her storytelling is steeped in the landscapes of the Pacific Northwest—honest, open, and a little rough around the edges. Her newest single, Holy Smokes, is a cheeky, country-leaning cover of Anna Bates’ original, reimagined with jangly guitars and the bright, unfiltered energy of early influences like Brandi Carlile, First Aid Kit, and Gillian Welch. Aslin has shared stages with artists including Phoebe Bridgers, bringing her signature warmth and humor to performances that stay with you long after the last song.

Jeremy Herzer
Jeremy Herzer is a songwriter whose work leans into quiet intensity, crafting emotionally rich stories with understated grace. His lyrics often hold space for doubt, longing, and a longing for greater resilience—inviting listeners to sit with the discomfort as much as the beauty. With a voice that feels unvarnished and intimate, Jeremy writes songs that resist easy answers, unfolding slowly with poetic precision. His music is rooted in folk and singer-songwriter traditions, yet remains deeply personal and contemporary in its emotional reach.
