Techniques for Backup Banjo
Once you’ve kicked off the song or finished your break and the spotlight is on someone else, there’s still a lot for you to play (and not play) behind your fellow bandmates to enhance the sound of the group or the jam. In this “all picks on” workshop, we’ll work on skills to get you moving up and down the neck “riding the rails” between movable chord shapes and leading tones.
