This mixed-level jam is best suited for ukulele players who are already comfortable playing in the Key of C and are looking to expand their repertoires. We play songs that pull from a variety of genres, songwriters, and musical traditions, from folk favorites by The Carter Family to an 'ukulele adaption of “The Wind Cries Mary”, by Jimi Hendrix.
Led by Avery Hill, a staple 'ukulele instructor for over 10 years who has taught at 'ukulele camps from British Columbia to New York State. She takes great joy in meeting everyone where they are in their musical journey, and guiding them one step further with meaningful experiences in the classroom and a few laughs along the way, as well.
