Born and raised in the heart of Silicon Valley, Gaby Castro is a folk/Americana singer-songwriter with the soul of a mountain songbird. She has been performing regionally, nationally, and internationally for over fifteen years. Gaby is the youngest member to be elected to the Folk Alliance Region-West (FAR-West) board, where she brings her expertise as a folk singer-songwriter to connect folk music communities across the North American West, and serves as Vice President since 2025. In 2022, Gaby was introduced to the world of sound healing and founded the holistic healing company Song Pine and Stone as a certified sound healing practitioner. She has released three albums and one EP of original songs, the most recent released in 2019. Her newest collection of songs will weave stories about her travels and life in the golden state she calls home.

Since her first album Diamond in the Rough (2009) catapulted her onto the SF Bay Area music scene, Aprylle’s voice, energy and lyrics have captivated audiences across California and around the world. Facing the world solo and all original, Aprylle has made a name for herself captivating audiences large and small and doing it on her own terms. Part of Aprylle’s on-stage charm lies in her autobiographical stories and relatable themes of love, longing, and learning to be true to yourself that enchant and inspire everyone who hears them. Engaging her audience with nothing more than her voice and an acoustic guitar (and recently her ukulele), she has been likened to Michelle Branch and Sheryl Crow. She has become a regular at clubs and festivals in the Bay Area and has performed in prestigious venues such as the House of Blues, on Sunset Strip in Hollywood CA and on the historic Golden Gate Bandshell Stage in Golden Gate Park.
