Portland Songwriters Matt Meighan and Dave Dudley join forces, backed by Dale Jones on bass. An afternoon of original songs and traditional folk-blues. 
 

MATT MEIGHAN--

Songwriter Matt Meighan has lived and performed in Portland since 2005. He hosted the Songwriter Roundup open mic at Artichoke Music for more than a decade, and has taught his weekly Songwriting as Truth-Telling class since 2009. Matt co-founded and hosts the annual Hidden River Songwriting Camp and an annual week-long songwriting retreat in Donegal, Ireland.   

Matt’s musical education began at the Old Town School of Folk Music and the blues and jazz clubs of 1960s Chicago. A song collector as well as writer, Matt mixes his originals with songs by fellow songwriters and older songs from the folk and blues traditions.

DAVE DUDLEY--

Dave Dudley has been playing harmonica since he was 12, with the blues always at the center of his sound. His songwriting is straight from the heart—honest, vulnerable, and rooted in whatever he’s living through, from love songs to blues.
 

DALE JONES--

Dale Jones, from Portland, Oregon, is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, recording engineer, and producer. He writes and performs melodic Americana tunes, full of twists, turns, and lyrics that sometimes are just plain strange.
